EV Charger Uptime: It's Not Just a Number!
Did you know that EV charger uptime is strictly regulated? Charging stations receiving government funding (like those from the NEVI program) must maintain a 97% uptime! Failing to meet this standard can result in serious consequences, including:
But what doesn't count towards that 97%? Things like vandalism, severe weather.
And important note: Even planned maintenance is factored into the uptime calculation. This emphasizes the importance of minimizing unplanned downtime. Let's make sure our EV charging infrastructure is top-notch!
Sponsor the Denver training
We're seeking two sponsors to provide daily lunches for 15 students and 2 trainers during our intensive 15-day EVSE repair training program. We are also seeking sponsors to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) for each participant.
