The EVSE Repair Training Program is a 3-week, 120-hour comprehensive program designed to equip participants with the skills to diagnose and repair public electric vehicle charging stations, also known as EVSEs.
This program is organized by Women Who Charge. Our EVSE Field Technician certification is a pilot program made possible through several partners including Xcel Energy, Denver office of Climate Action Sustainability and Resiliency (CASR), African American Trade Association (AATA) and WorkNOW .

The SAE certification established a Body of Knowledge categorized into seven domains of theoretical and practical components, including tasks such as identifying and diagnosing issues, and repairing or replacing faulty components.

Waitlist: If a student is not admitted to the class due to the waitlist, they will receive a full refund of up to $249.
Force Majeure: The organization is not obligated to provide a refund in cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics).
No Transfer-ability: Application fees are not transferable to future sessions or other programs.
No Payment Plans: Payment plans are not offered.
The start date for the fall session of 2024 is October 21, 2024.
In-person training dates are from October 21 to November 8.
Hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday - Friday.
The training will be held in the conference room, on the 2nd floor, above the Women Who Charge office in Denver, Colorado.

No prior experience is required. The program is designed to teach you everything you need to know.
Participants will receive two industry-recognized certifications: OSHA 10 (general industry) NFPA and High Voltage certifications, and an EV repair certificate of completion from ChargerHelp!.
The in-person training prepares you to take the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) exams.
In person attendance is mandatory for successful completion of the EVSE repair training program.
Due to the intensive and hands-on nature of the 3-week curriculum, participants are allowed no more than one absence throughout the duration of the program.
Missed quizzes and tests cannot be made up on any missed days. These assessments are integral components of the learning process and contribute significantly to the overall evaluation of participant performance.
Failure to attend the required number of classes will result in ineligibility for a certificate of completion. Consistent attendance is essential for gaining the necessary knowledge and skills to become a proficient EVSE repair technician.
